1. Introduction

Welcome to Regency Ran Online ("Regency," "we," "us," or "our"), a community-operated private online game server.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Regency Ran Online website, player accounts, game servers, launcher, patching system, virtual currency, in-game content, and associated services (collectively, the "Services").

By registering an account, accessing our website, downloading or using our launcher, making a purchase, or playing on our servers, you agree to these Terms.

• Attack, disrupt, overload, or attempt unauthorized access to our servers, website, APIs, or infrastructure.
• Distribute malware, malicious patches, account-stealing software, or tampered launcher packages.
• Harass, threaten, abuse, or deliberately disrupt other players.
• Manipulate rankings, virtual currency, purchases, rewards, or other game systems through unauthorized means.
• Use the Services for unlawful purposes or violate the rights of others.

We may investigate suspected violations using available gameplay records, server logs, IP addresses, and anti-cheat telemetry.

4. Account Restrictions and Enforcement

Depending on the severity and circumstances of a violation, we may take measures including:

• Issuing a warning.
• Restricting chat or specific game features.
• Removing unlawfully obtained items or benefits.
• Reversing transactions or game-state changes associated with proven exploits.
• Temporarily suspending an account.
• Permanently banning an account.
• Blocking abusive connections or restricting access to protect the Services.

We may take immediate action when reasonably necessary to prevent fraud, cheating, security incidents, or serious disruption.

Where appropriate, players may contact support to request a review of an enforcement decision. We may decline to disclose security-sensitive detection methods or information that would facilitate circumvention.

We will handle enforcement and appeals consistently with applicable law. Nothing in this section removes any legal rights you may have.

5. Virtual Currency and Digital Items

The Services may provide virtual currency, equipment, cosmetic items, character progression, rewards, and other digital content.

Unless expressly stated otherwise:

1. Virtual currency and items are digital features of Regency Ran Online and are not bank deposits, electronic money, or real-world currency merely because they have a displayed price or can be purchased.
2. Virtual currency has no cash redemption value and cannot be exchanged for real-world currency through us unless expressly offered under separate written terms.
3. Virtual currency and digital items may be subject to game rules, account restrictions, balancing changes, and technical limitations.
4. We may correct balances or remove items reasonably determined to have resulted from duplication, fraud, unauthorized transactions, or exploitation.
5. You must not use unauthorized third-party services to sell, buy, or exchange virtual currency or items.
6. We do not guarantee that any particular item, character, balance, or feature will remain available indefinitely.

Any restriction on refunds, transfers, or redemptions is subject to applicable consumer protection law and any specific purchase terms.

6. Top-Ups, Purchases, and Payment Disputes

Regency may offer paid top-ups that provide virtual currency or other digital benefits.

Before confirming a transaction, review the displayed price, currency, package contents, and applicable conditions.

You agree to:

• Use an authorized payment method.
• Provide accurate information required to complete a transaction.
• Make purchases only when authorized to use the selected payment method.
• Contact support promptly if a payment succeeds but the expected digital benefits are not credited.
• Provide reasonable transaction information when requesting payment assistance.

We may delay, investigate, or restrict suspicious transactions where reasonably necessary to prevent fraud or unauthorized activity.

Refunds and cancellations: Refund requests will be assessed under applicable law and the terms disclosed at the time of purchase. We may decline a request where legally permitted, including certain completed transactions involving delivered digital content. However, we do not exclude statutory cancellation, refund, or other consumer rights that apply to the transaction.

We may investigate chargebacks or disputed payments. Any resulting account action must be proportionate and consistent with applicable law.

7. Service Availability, Maintenance, and Changes

We aim to maintain the Services but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Access may be interrupted by:

• Scheduled maintenance or emergency repairs.
• Game updates, patches, or balancing changes.
• Hosting, network, database, or infrastructure failures.
• Security incidents, exploits, or abuse.
• Third-party service interruptions.
• Events outside our reasonable control.

We may modify, suspend, replace, or discontinue features where reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, technical compatibility, or operational reasons.

Where practicable, we will provide advance notice of significant planned maintenance or material changes.

We do not guarantee that game progress, rankings, balances, or virtual items will be preserved in every circumstance, but this does not remove any liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

8. Launcher, Patching, and Anti-Cheat

Our launcher may download, verify, install, and update game files required to use the Services.

You must not tamper with these systems or attempt to circumvent legitimate security controls.

The Regency name, original branding, website design, original content, and other materials created for Regency are owned by or licensed to their respective rights holders.

Third-party trademarks, game assets, software, and other materials remain the property of their respective owners. Their presence in the Services does not imply that Regency owns those materials or is officially affiliated with or endorsed by their owners.

You must not copy, distribute, commercially exploit, or create unauthorized derivative works from materials without the necessary permission, except where permitted by applicable law.

The community-operated nature of Regency does not itself establish a licence or authorization to operate a private server or use third-party intellectual property.

10. Third-Party Services

The Services may rely on third-party providers for hosting, payment processing, email delivery, security, analytics, or community communications.

Those providers may have separate terms and privacy policies. Your use of their services may be subject to those terms.

We will take reasonable steps to manage service providers involved in handling personal data, as required by applicable law.

11. Suspension, Account Closure, and Service Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time and may request account closure through our official support email.

We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary because of violations of these Terms, fraud, security threats, legal requirements, abuse, or discontinuation of the Services.

Where appropriate and lawful, we may provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. Immediate restrictions may be necessary to protect players, systems, or the integrity of the game.

Account closure or a service shutdown may affect access to characters, progress, virtual currency, and digital items. Applicable refund rights, privacy rights, and other mandatory legal protections remain unaffected.

12. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided on an "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, compatibility with every device, or the absence of all errors, vulnerabilities, or security incidents.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the Services.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

These Terms do not remove mandatory consumer protections or other rights provided by applicable law.
